 Dear Colleagues,
It is our great honor and pleasure to announce that the 12th international conference on electrical machines and systems (ICEMS 2009) organized by IEEJ Industry Applications Society will be held in Tokyo, Japan.
We have selected this city as the site for the conference because Tokyo is in the center of the most advanced industrialized area in the world.
The aims of this conference are to provide a big opportunity for researchers and engineers from all over the world to present the latest researches and developments in the fields of electrical machines and systems and to exchange useful information and experiences in their researches. Invited speeches from outstanding researchers will be given and an exhibition will also be held in the conference.
ICEMS is co-sponsored by the Korean Institute of Electrical Engineers and China Electrotechnical Society, and it has had technical co-sponsorship with IEEE Industry Applications Society since 2006 when ICEMS was held in Japan for the first time. We sincerely hope that ICEMS 2009 would be remarkably successful.
