The deadline date is based on the arrival date of your application form and the confirmation of your payment of the registration fee to the Registration Office.

• Accompanying persons are limited to the participants’ family members only.
• On-site registration fee for Participant and Student does not include the Banquet. Participant and student cannot attend the Banquet if they register on-site.

Registration Requirement for Paper Presentation

For the papers to be presented at the conference, authors should meet the following conditions. Please complete the conference registration by August 1, 2009 August 7, 2009 (same date as the deadline for manuscript submission).

 

1. All presenting authors are required to complete conference registration as either Participant or Student.
2. ONE participant payment (JPY 55,000) authorizes to submit ONE full paper. For one full paper submission, at least one author must register at a participant rate (not a student rate), even if all authors are students.

Deadline for Pre-Registration: October 28, 2009

After October 28, On-site Registration will be available at the registration desk during the period of ICEMS2009. We would appreciate your cooperation to register as early as possible.

 

 

Payment

Payment must be made in Japanese yen and can be made in one of the following methods:

Confirmation

Upon receiving the registration and confirming the payment, the Registration Office will send you a confirmation e-mail, bearing your registration number. Please print out and present the confirmation to the registration desk at the conference site to receive the conference materials. If you need an invoice for the payment, please inquire to the Registration Office: icems2009-reg@ics-inc.co.jp

 

 

Cancellation

If you cancel your participation in the conference, please be sure to notify the Registration Office by e-mail or fax immediately. The following cancellation fee will apply, based on the date when the office receives notification of cancellation. All refunds will be made after the conference. (We will make a deduction of bank transfer fee from the amount to be paid back.)

 

When written notice of cancellation received:

Until July 31, 2009: JPY 10,000 plus bank handling charge
August 1 through September 30: 50% of the registration fee plus bank handling charge
From October 1: 100% of the registration fee (No refund)
